Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Leads and mentors the Scrum Team in applying Agile methods and principles to provide our clients with high-caliber goods and services.
- Raises team performance to a high level by identifying areas for growth and strength and using the right coaching and development strategies.
- Charged with making sure the team understands Scrum and follows its principles, practices, and requirements.
- Assists organizational project or product teams and influences and drives decision- making in collaboration with the Scrum Team and internal and external stakeholders.
- Works with other Scrum Masters to resolve team obstacles in order to improve the efficacy of Scrum implementation within the company.
- Collaborates with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to advance in the position.
- Helps the company implement Agile techniques more effectively and further.
- Leads and assists with all scrum activities, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

Key skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of product or project development experience, or 3 years of project development experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Exhibited knowledge of facilitation techniques and expertise leading meetings at various organizational levels.
- Must have hands-on experience in project management tool JIRA.
- Technology awareness of Java, Android Application, iOS application.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, encompassing Word, Excel, and Outlook among others.
- Promotes and exemplifies the values and concepts of Agile.
- Proficiency in software development life cycle models, agile frameworks and methods (e.g., Scrum), as well as sophisticated knowledge of conventional project management techniques and procedures.
- Proficiency in various Scrum methodologies such as story splitting, estimate, velocity, retrospection, and refinement. Ability to plan and solve issues with product management and delivery teams.
Competent in the subsequent areas
- Unit testing as well as coding in 1-2 languages (e.g. Java, C#, etc.)
- Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and analysis
- Application of design patterns
- Application of non-functional software qualities such as resilience, maintainability, etc.
- Applying behaviour-driven testing techniques
- Git, BitBucket or any version control
